Dominó makes investment on unique and innovative technology in Portugal that allows to create large ceramic formats

Dominó realized recently an investment of 8 million euros acquiring equipment that will allow to have access  to the best technology in the production of pavements of floorings and ceramic tiles. Of all equipment adquired the “Contínua Technology” stands out.

“Contínua” it is an equipment of ceramic production developed by SACMI, that allows to produce big dimensions formats. This big investment will allow that only Dominó in Iberian Peninsula, and one of the few in the world, to produce formats with 120 x 120 cm. Focused on exportation, Dominó has growing up and conquering new markets with a very good reception from consumers around the world.

With this new format of 120 x 120 cm, makes Dominó more competitive on national and international markets. Using this technology allow to reduce production costs and lower environmental impact. Domíno Indústrias Cerâmicas S.A. localized on Zona Industrial de Condeixa is an company that produces  pavements of floorings and ceramic tiles in construction area.
